We are looking for an experienced individual to join a dedicated team in gorgeous 4-bed children's home, where you will provide a warm, caring, and comfortable environment for children aged 6-17 years with moderate to severe complex needs, learning and physical disabilities.

As a Residential Support Worker, no two days are the same, you will play a crucial role in supporting these young individuals, helping them build confidence, independence, and life skills for a brighter future. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Engage directly with young people to understand and meet their unique needs, supporting their transition into the service.
  • Participate in activities that build life skills and independence, such as Xbox, arts and crafts, cooking, and day trips.
  • Provide lead case/care planning management, including assessing, reviewing, and managing risks.
  • Coordinate responsibilities within the service, liaising with multi-agency teams and producing detailed family information, including analysis and written reports.
  • Attendance at professional meetings including reviews, court work etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year UK experience working directly in a children's home. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Solution-focused approach to problem-solving, both individually and in a team setting.
  • Emotional resilience to respond to the challenging nature of the role.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Drivers are preferred for this role.
