Rural Surveyor (Hexham) Salary: £30k-£45k (depending on experience) Role Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Rural Surveyor to join a busy and dynamic team in Hexham. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert rural property consultancy services, including managing a diverse range of rural estates and land, conducting valuations, and advising clients on property-related matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional advice and consultancy services on all aspects of rural property, including estate management, land acquisition, and valuation.
- Conduct valuations for a wide variety of property types, including agricultural land, residential property, and sporting estates.
- Lead and assist in the management of rural estates, ensuring that clients receive effective advice tailored to their needs.
- Develop and manage relationships with clients, ensuring the continued growth of the business and the expansion of services offered.
- Assist clients with property-related legal matters, such as wayleaves, access rights, and planning applications.
- Provide advice on diversification projects and help clients explore new income-generating opportunities for their estates.
- Work collaboratively with senior colleagues on complex rural property projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and client satisfaction.
- Travel to clients’ properties and attend meetings as required, providing onsite advice and assessments. Key Requirements:
- Recent graduate or a newly qualified surveyor with an interest in rural property management and consultancy.
- A strong ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders, and the confidence to represent the business at all levels.
- Good knowledge of rural property matters, including valuation techniques, estate management, and rural law.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to tailor advice to suit different client needs.
- A full UK driving license and the willingness to travel regularly to client sites
