Description
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
Profile
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software ideally Xero.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector would be beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
