Duties for the Accounts Payable clerk:
- Manage company's accounts payable
- Process invoices and payments in a timely manner
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
- Prepare and present reports detailing accounts payable status
- Maintain vendor files and relationships
- Ensure accurate and effective document control
- Work effectively within the Accounting & Finance department
- Comply with company policies and procedures in all activities
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
