Are you a relationship builder with a commercial mindset and a passion for events? Our Buckinghamshire based client are seeking an Event Sponsorship & Sales Manager to lead and grow their sponsorship portfolio across a dynamic programme of industry-leading events.

This is a mainly remote role with 4 days working from home and 1 day being office based. 35 hour week. The salary for this role is £37,000 - £42,000 dependent on experience plus discretionary bonus.

The Role

As the Event Sponsorship & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering sponsorship revenue targets and strengthening relationships with sponsors and exhibitors. You'll play a key role in growing and diversifying commercial partnerships, ensuring every sponsor has a valuable and memorable experience.

What you’ll be doing as Event Sponsorship & Sales Manager

  • Drive sponsorship and exhibitor sales to meet revenue targets across flagship and niche events.
  • Build long-term relationships with sponsors, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and opportunities for upselling.
  • Develop innovative sponsorship packages that align with partner objectives and new event formats.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process from lead generation through to contract signing and invoicing.
  • Lead on-site sponsor and exhibitor management at major events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver sponsor commitments and drive continuous improvement.

  • Proven experience in sponsorship sales, account management, or event business development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • A strategic thinker with the drive to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, especially under pressure during events.
