About the role:
Supply Desk are working closely with an outstanding primary school based in High Wycombe who are seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and well-led school committed to inclusive education and supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs.

The successful candidate will have a passion for ensuring all students reach their full potential and will be confident in leading SEN provision across the school.

You will be required to:

  • Lead the strategic development of SEND provision

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the school’s SEN policy

  • Support and advise colleagues on all aspects of SEN

  • Liaise with external agencies to support student needs

  • Ensure EHCPs and SEN support plans are in place and regularly reviewed

  • Monitor and track progress of students with SEN

Requirements for this SENCO position:

  • Must hold QTS and a relevant SENCO qualification (or be working towards it)

  • Experience working with children with SEND in a primary setting

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Up-to-date knowledge of SEND Code of Practice
