They are currently seeking a dedicated Science Teacher for September, and are open to specialists in Physics, Biology, or Chemistry. 

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in Science.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils and by their organisation of learning resources and the classroom learning environment.
  • Assess and record progress and prepare pupils for examinations.
  • Provide feedback to parents and carers on a pupil's progress at parents' evenings and other meetings.
  • Keep up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities and collaborate with other teachers and staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Science, Physics, Biology, or Chemistry.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent; applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Fully Qualified Teachers (FQTs) are warmly welcomed.
  • Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and current teaching methods.
  • Passion for science and teaching with the ability to inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
