Our client, a successful organisation based in High Wycombe, is looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.

The successful candidate will be hands on with the daily workflow of our client's two warehouses, as well as involved in Purchasing and Facilities Management.

The main focus of the role will be to ensure the correct storage of business owned and customer supplied materials, managing inbound and outbound deliveries, monitoring stock levels across all departments and liaising with suppliers and raising purchase orders. Additionally, you will support with the facilities management of the buildings, ensuring the smooth running of all activities.

£30k - £32k plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouses across 2 sites to ensure the correct organisation and storage of all stock, either owned by the business or clients
  • Maintain records of stock kept at storage warehouse
  • Be responsible for all company purchasing, monitor stock levels and raise purchase orders and match supplier invoices to GRN's and PO's at month end
  • Manage Goods In deliveries throughout the day
  • Keep warehouse tidy and ensure stock is rotated as appropriate
  • Identify slow moving items and proactively work with the Account Management team to reduce
  • Facilitate periodic stock checks as and when required for both auditors and clients
  • Keep machine operators supplied with materials in order that all production lines are kept running
  • Keep accurate records of and manage the servicing of all company vehicles
  • Oversee the general facility management and maintenance of the factory including arranging subcontractors for works
  • Develop warehouse operations to support company growth plans - implementing process improvements by offering fresh ideas to the site to progress the company forward

Personal Specifications

  • Experience of supervising a warehouse essential, experience of a fast moving factory operation would be advantageous
  • Background in purchasing and managing relationships with suppliers advantageous
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organised
  • Driving license and comfortable driving a van
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Forklift license
