Are you a strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a talent for negotiation? Our client is looking for a Procurement and Contracts Manager to take the lead on developing, implementing, and managing both supplier and customer contracts, while steering the end-to-end procurement process. You would be working for an incredible not-for-profit organisation that has a fantastic work life balance, with 4 days a week worked from home?

This role is part time- 28 hours per week (days and hours to be agreed upon to suit both the successful candidate and the needs of the company). The salary on offer is £35,200-£38,400 (£44,000-£48,000 FTE) DOE.

In this role, you'll build strong supplier partnerships, negotiate optimal terms, and ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory standards. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver value, reduce risk, and drive efficiency.

Main responsibilities for the Procurement and Contracts Manager role:

  • Expert in contract drafting, negotiation, and lifecycle management.
  • Deep understanding of procurement strategy and best practices.
  • Skilled negotiator with a knack for securing favourable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical thinker, able to assess performance and mitigate risks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communicator-both written and verbal.
  • Organised and efficient thrives when managing multiple priorities.
  • Builds and nurtures strong supplier and internal relationships.

Skills/Experience required for the Procurement and Contracts Manager role:

  • Qualifications: Ideally a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or holding a relevant legal qualification.
  • Experience: Proven background in contract management and procurement, with a solid grasp of legal terminology and stakeholder engagement.
