SEN Teaching Assistant - High Wycombe - Start Date: 12th May 2025

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in High Wycombe is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team with interviews taken place on the 9th of May and starting the following week on the 12th of May

This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate, patient, and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN). The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support to pupils, ensuring they have every opportunity to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of individual learning plans
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support
  • Helping to create an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment
  • Liaising with staff and external professionals as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
  • A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

This is a full-time position during term time, with working hours in line with the school day.
