Leader Group is proud to be partnering with a leading Therapeutic Education Service to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled SEN English Teacher to join their dedicated team in High Wycombe.
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and creative English Teacher to deliver engaging and accessible lessons for students with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, communication difficulties, and trauma-related behaviours.
As part of a nurturing, multidisciplinary team, your role will involve:

Planning and teaching inspiring English lessons across Key Stages, tailored to individual learning needs.

Supporting pupils in developing literacy, comprehension, and confidence in spoken and written communication.

Providing constructive feedback to guide progress and celebrate achievement.

Creating a positive, therapeutic learning environment where every child feels valued and safe.

Working collaboratively with support staff and therapists to ensure holistic progress for each learner.
Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who is:

Qualified – holding QTS or QTLS (essential).

Experienced in SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision settings.

Passionate about supporting students who may have experienced barriers to learning.

Empathetic and patient, with a commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed practice.
