Job Role: Aerospace Quality Inspector
Location: Hinckley
Pay Rate: Up to 41,200 a year
Type: Full-time, permanent
Shift: Rotation: Days and Lates, Monday to Thursday.

The company:
A leading supplier to the aero engine, marine and satellite industries, manufactures ring machined components. Works closely in partnership with customers, providing complete end-to-end solutions from formulating designs and sourcing materials through to manufacture, assembly and testing.
The candidate:
- The ideal candidate for the Quality Inspector role will:
- Possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed,
- Possess an in-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards,
- Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently,
- Be able to inspect in-process and finished product to ensure compliance to drawing specifications and customer requirements,
- Provide aid to the manufacturing to ensure quality product is being produced,
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have minimum of 5 years' experience in an aerospace quality engineering environment,
- Be experienced with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
- Be experienced with Root Cause / Corrective and preventative action FAIR AS9102, Control Plans, FMEA, product verification and Visual Inspection
Job responsibilities:
- You will be an experienced Quality Inspector. You will be able to:
- Read and interpret customer drawings,
- Use standard metrology techniques: Hand gauges / 1st Principal techniques,
- Have CMM experience (PCDmis preferred) Operate (program),
- Apply GD&T inspection methods, Inspect tight tolerance parts, both assembled & machined,
- Record and communicate information effectively.
- Communicate clearly and effectively,
- Manage and control calibration equipment,
- Perform any other general quality duties asked.
