We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Aerospace manufacturing customer based in Hinckley, who are seeking a skilled Welder to join their high-performing team. The company is a leading supplier of precision components and assemblies, including pipework, ducts, and fasteners, to OEMs and Tier 1s across both civil and military Aerospace sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual welding of metal pipes, tubing, and components.
- Set up and calibrate welding equipment to match required program specifications.
- Carry out orbital welding processes on metal pipes and tubing.
- Prepare tubes for welding, including ultrasonic cleaning and manual/automatic cutting.
Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in welding.
- Strong organisational skills, with experience in Continuous Improvement initiatives preferred.
- Proficient in analysing and applying data to support quality and efficiency improvements.
- Self-motivated and capable of performing under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-quality aerospace environment.
- Prior experience in the aerospace industry is desirable.
