We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Aerospace manufacturing customer based in Hinckley, who are seeking a skilled Welder to join their high-performing team. The company is a leading supplier of precision components and assemblies, including pipework, ducts, and fasteners, to OEMs and Tier 1s across both civil and military Aerospace sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual welding of metal pipes, tubing, and components.
  • Set up and calibrate welding equipment to match required program specifications.
  • Carry out orbital welding processes on metal pipes and tubing.
  • Prepare tubes for welding, including ultrasonic cleaning and manual/automatic cutting.

Requirements:

  • Recognised qualification in welding.
  • Strong organisational skills, with experience in Continuous Improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Proficient in analysing and applying data to support quality and efficiency improvements.
  • Self-motivated and capable of performing under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-quality aerospace environment.
  • Prior experience in the aerospace industry is desirable.
