Silcom Recruitment is partnering with a brilliant motor trade organisation, who are looking for a confident, customer focused Service Advisor to join a busy, well-established automotive environment that values professionalism, expertise, and a high standard of customer care.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor:

Act as one of the main point of contacts for service customers from check in through to vehicle handover.

Clearly communicate repair needs and estimates, ensuring a smooth customer journey.

Liaise with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely updates.

Manage job cards, service bookings, and customer records with accuracy.

Deliver exceptional customer service in person, over the phone and via email.

Maximise upsell opportunities in line with customer needs and company standards.

Maintain a calm, professional approach in a fast-paced, customer focused setting.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a Service Advisor or customer facing automotive role (dealership, independent, or fastfit environment).

Exceptional communication and organisational skills.

A proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail.

The ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Technical knowledge of vehicles is an advantage but not essential.

A full UK driving licence.

The Package:

£40,000 basic salary, no bonus.

Monday to Friday only, NO WEEKENDS.
