Were working with a beautifully designed, recently opened gastropub in the charming market town of Hitchin. With a strong focus on seasonal British produce and ambitious plans to achieve Rosettes, theyre now looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to support their small, skilled kitchen team.

- £36,000 per annum plus circa £6,000 service charge
- Live-in accommodation available for around £600 per month
- Set days off Monday and Tuesday
- Open from Wednesday dinner to Sunday lunch

Responsibilities as a Junior Sous Chef
- Collaborating with and supporting the team in daily service and prep
- Assisting with menu development and creative seasonal specials
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency
- Taking responsibility for kitchen operations in the absence of senior chefs
- Mentoring junior staff and helping them develop their skills
