Job Overview

You will be a key part of the payroll team and will be responsible for processing a high-volume in-house payroll from start to finish. You will also be involved in a big payroll automation project, helping automate processes and procedures.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Running a payroll in house for over 1800 employees, working within a team
  • HR administration (starters, leavers, absence reporting etc)
  • Assisting with project to automate payroll processes

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience running payrolls from start to finish
  • Relevant telephone experience
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • High level of organisational ability; ability to work to tight deadlines and targets
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience working in a UK payroll function
  • Experience using multiple payroll systems
  • Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation
  • Experience with excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
