Job Overview
You will be a key part of the payroll team and will be responsible for processing a high-volume in-house payroll from start to finish. You will also be involved in a big payroll automation project, helping automate processes and procedures.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Running a payroll in house for over 1800 employees, working within a team
- HR administration (starters, leavers, absence reporting etc)
- Assisting with project to automate payroll processes
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Experience running payrolls from start to finish
- Relevant telephone experience
- High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- High level of organisational ability; ability to work to tight deadlines and targets
- Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience working in a UK payroll function
- Experience using multiple payroll systems
- Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation
- Experience with excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
