Role Summary:
This is a fantastic newly created opportunity for you to learn this business, understand and support their sales process, working with the Sales Manager and Account Manager. You will provide administration support to the sales function with entering order information, looking at different design elements, paying close attention to details. You will be a key support to customers providing excellent levels of customer service, with a view to being trained in Sales & Account Management, to progress your role within this area. Our client is looking for someone who is keen to learn the sales function as this role offers excellent development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will provide support to the sales team daily, managing queries and ensuring all customer details are correct
- Be a key point of contact for customers, advising on product choices and bespoke requirements, ensuring attention to detail across all areas
- You will visit customers on site to discuss requirements and talk through designs, confirming details of orders
- Your role will involve some proactive telephone work with customers to follow up on enquiries
- Keeping the CRM system updated with all client detail and communication
- Keeping management informed of orders and any challenges
- Being that 'go to' person for customers and for the Sales Manager, ensuring you have strong awareness of all orders, stage of order etc.
What we are looking for:
- You will have similar experience gained within a Sales Support or Customer focused role, where you are providing support to customers
- Any experience within a manufacturing setting where you are advising customers on products would be really useful but not essential
- Any design or interiors experience would also be an advantage
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships with ease
- Focused and conscientious approach with excellent attention to detail for the design elements
- Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise your work
- A desire to progress within Sales, Business Development or Account Management
