Residential Conveyancer – Residential Property Jobs in Devon

Location: Honiton, Seaton or Sidmouth – Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunities

A respected law firm in Devon is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy property team. This role is open to Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, Licensed Conveyancers and experienced Unqualified Fee Earners who have managed their own conveyancing caseload.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for running a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including:

  • Sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
  • Buy-to-let and residential investment transactions
  • Re-mortgages and equity release
  • New build property sales and purchases
  • Matrimonial property transfers
  • Probate-related property sales
  • Help to Buy and Shared Ownership transactions
  • Joint ownership and transfer of equity

You will be expected to deliver excellent client care, meet deadlines and maintain strong working relationships with clients, agents and other Solicitors.

Your Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
  • Able to manage a full caseload independently from instruction to completion
  • Qualification not essential – applications welcome from Solicitors, Legal Executives, Licensed Conveyancers and experienced unqualified conveyancers
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
