We’re looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join an innovative company in the electronics sector (with excellent benefits!).
Based at their premises in Hook, Hampshire, you will be responsible for undertaking daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of all of the company’s products stored on-site. The role is essential to maintaining seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
As a key member of a small warehouse team this will be a varied, hands-on role, consisting of:
- Undertaking the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
- Conducting regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, working closely with logistics partners and couriers.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment in line with company and H&SE standards.
- Quality control checks.
- Use warehouse ERP tools to update stock movements and manage orders.
- Collaborate with the procurement, sales, and customer service teams to support timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Support the implementation of lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and prepare delivery documentation, shipping labels, and returns as required.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet trucks safely (training will be provided if needed).
- Undertake waste / recycling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
About YOU!
- 3+ years previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain coordination role.
- Forklift truck license.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and stock handling.
- IT literate, including experience with stock control software, Microsoft Word & Excel, and ERP systems.
- Strong time management and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to safely carry out manual handling tasks.
- Understanding of Health & Safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Experience working in a technical or industrial environment (e.g., electrical components, engineering, or manufacturing) - desirable, not essential.
- Familiarity with lean warehousing principles or continuous improvement methodologies - desirable, not essential.
- Knowledge of international shipping procedures and export documentation - desirable, not essential.
- Warehousing & storage qualifications - desirable, not essential.
- Health & Safety Certificates & First Aid - desirable, not essential.
In return, my client will be offering a salary of circa £25,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience) as well as a performance-related bonus, pension, life assurance & more.
