We are seeking a proactive Family Finding Officer (Senior sales Administrator) to join our team based in Romford. This role combines sales and administrative responsibilities, focusing on securing safe and tailored care packages for children by liaising with local authorities, foster carers, and social work teams.
Day-to-day of the role:- Efficiently manage high volumes of child referrals for fostering, education, or children’s homes, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Actively liaise with various stakeholders including foster carers, social workers, and local authorities to facilitate appropriate placements.
- Handle multiple placement searches simultaneously, prioritising effectively, especially in cases requiring emergency placements.
- Promote available foster carers and services to local authorities, sending out regular updates and maintaining strong customer relationships through active communication.
- Manage and update relevant data using database applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
- Provide administrative support by managing documentation, undertaking system audits, and ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
- Strong background in Sales, Customer Service, or Administrative roles, preferably within a social care or educational setting.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in database management and adept at using electronic systems for data entry and reporting.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Must be fully compliant with an enhanced DBS on the update service.
