Reed Crawley is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Data Entry Specialist to join a busy team. This role involves managing and updating our client's database with precision and accuracy. You will play a crucial role in categorising business types and ensuring records are up-to-date, particularly for exhibitor and visitor prospects.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work through the database or spreadsheet to assign Business Types and Categories (BT and C) to records. This will involve researching companies online to understand their business activities and accurately categorising them according to their charts.
  • Update records that have opted out of communications by reviewing a spreadsheet pulled from the marketing system, searching for email addresses, and flagging them as ‘no email’ in the database.
  • Manage physical mailing returns by marking them in the spreadsheet
  • Input data for approximately 
  • Action unsubscribes, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to use spreadsheets and database software proficiently.
  • Good research skills and the ability to categorise data effectively.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
