Are you a Maintenance Manager from Wastewater or a Process industry background looking for the opportunity to improve all maintenance activities for an industry-renowned specialist company working closely with some of the biggest utility businesses in the UK?

On offer is the opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to use their skills, paired with their brilliant leadership abilities, to deliver both project and maintenance for new and existing clients. You will be developing relationships with utility companies and contractor partners, as well as monitoring team performance at the head office, as well as in the field.

You will be managing a team of experienced maintenance and project engineers in their day-to-day operations, whilst actively developing the maintenance schedules and project plans to minimise downtime.

This role would suit a dynamic leader with exceptional business experience looking for a varied role where you will be a major part of a continuously growing specialist manufacturer and have a path to progression.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage a small team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to ensure optimal team performance and utilisation
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities at client sites, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored maintenance solutions
  • Cultivate relationships with utility companies and contractor partners to deliver project and framework maintenance
  • Forecast and plan team resources, identifying times of high demand and coordinating with other departments for additional resources
  • 70% Office-based, 30% at customer sites

The Person:

  • Maintenance Management experience
  • Experience in the water utilities or odour control sectors
  • HNC or equivalent in an engineering or technical discipline
