They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, assembling, and testing mechanical components—especially those involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems. A strong understanding of material selection, functional testing, and quality compliance is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble mechanical components to assess damage and identify repair requirements.
- Determine appropriate materials and methods to be used during the repair process.
- Perform repairs according to approved Repair Instructions and Component Maintenance Manuals
- Conduct functional testing of components, with a focus on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Reassemble components after repair or overhaul, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Execute "Reduce to Produce" activities to support component recovery and cost efficiency.
- Maintain and report operational data daily, weekly, and monthly as required.
- Manage the calibration process for tools and equipment in accordance with quality standards.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot mechanical failures and suggest improvements.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards across all activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven hands-on experience with hydraulic systems and components.
- Familiarity with pneumatic systems and testing protocols.
- Solid understanding of mechanical repairs, material selection, and calibration processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Experience in a regulated industry (aviation, automotive, etc.) is preferred.
