About the Role: 

Our client is seeking an experienced Air Operations Clerk to join their team of Dangerous Goods Airfreight Specialists. The role involves managing airfreight operations from start to finish, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct communication with agents and customers.
  • Managing all aspects of customer shipments.
  • Finding transport solutions (Air, Road, Sea) for regulated goods.
  • Booking exports with airlines.
  • Tracking shipments and providing updates.
  • Handling customer invoicing and processing creditor invoices.
  • Assisting with packing, documentation, driving, warehousing, and other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in airfreight operations with a freight forwarder.
  • DG (Dangerous Goods) and ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) accreditation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Gmail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Driving license and access to own vehicle (essential)
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.
