Street Cleansing Contract Manager
I'm looking for an experienced operations professional to take charge of street-cleansing services across a busy London network. This freelance role suits someone who thrives on ownership, high standards, and delivering visible results for local communities.
What you'll do
路Lead day-to-day cleansing operations, ensuring safety, compliance and environmental best practice.
路Drive continuous improvement across plans, strategies and service delivery.
路Set clear expectations across operational teams and ensure all contractual KPIs are met.
路Build strong relationships with stakeholders to enhance service understanding and performance.
路Oversee depot, fleet and plant requirements, ensuring everything is fit for purpose.
路Manage planned and reactive cleansing programmes, including out-of-hours operations.
路Champion customer-focused service, sustainability, recycling, and carbon/water reduction.
路Ensure robust RAMS, COSHH documentation and safe working practices.
路Support training, recruitment, team development and HSE responsibilities under CDM.
路Collaborate with third parties and internal partners to keep delivery seamless and compliant.
