Experience

Significant experience of working in housing related role. Experience of managing and prioritising own workload and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Experience of thinking strategically in dealing with Housing Management issues. Experience of working creatively with partners and other agencies, community and voluntary groupsand Safety, and Equal Opportunity Policies. Understanding of buildings and maintenance issue

As a member of the Neighbourhood Housing team this post provides a generic housing management function which includes and is directly responsible for :-

  • Estate Management
  • New tenant visits and tenancy sign up
  • Tenancy verification & fraud prevention
  • Requesting responsive maintenance
  • Addressing anti-social behaviour

Awareness of legislation, policy and best practice relating to housing management, rent arrears management and anti-social behaviour. Knowledge of legal enforcement proceedings via the County Court. Practical application of Health

Certificate in Housing (Level 3) or equivalent. Must have a valid drivers licence and have access to own means of transport
