Working Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, plus parents' evenings
Prospero Teaching is seeking a well-qualified and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Hounslow. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a Computing Lead role, starting in September 2025.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have a proven track record of securing excellent results in GCSE and A-Level Computer Science
- Inspire and lead high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment
- Be a dynamic, ambitious educator capable of building on the subject's current success
- Have experience effectively supporting students with a range of SEN, behavioural, and academic needs
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent qualification required
- Previous teaching experience in a UK school
- Recent Safeguarding training (within the last 12 months), or willingness to complete this through Prospero
To Be Eligible Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
- Be willing to register and complete the full vetting process
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Have (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
- Provide two professional references related to working with children
