About the Role of a Speech and Language Therapist:
Join a dedicated team supporting students with:
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Autism Spectrum Conditions
- Dyslexia, ADHD, and other associated needs
You will play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges through imaginative, student-centered therapy.
Key Responsibilities of a Speech and Language Therapist:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and deliver tailored intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with SENCOs, teachers, and families
- Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Track and report on student progress
About You:
- HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist
- Experience supporting children or young people with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Patient, compassionate, and committed to inclusive education
- Newly qualified therapists are encouraged to apply!
- Familiarity with assistive tech and therapy tools is an advantage
