Sonic Summary

Our client, an established freight forwarder based in the Heathrow area, is seeking to recruit a multi-modal freight operations coordinator to join their friendly team.
The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience within the freight forwarding industry, specifically in Exports, Imports, Cross Trade, and Customer Service.
While customs experience is not required, having knowledge of customs procedures or entries is considered an advantage.
The role involves managing customer requirements, handling shipments, updating customers, inputting shipment costs, and assisting with customs formalities.
The position offers a salary between £34K and £38K, with 5 weeks of holiday, and requires working hours of 4 on 4 off from 7 am to 7 pm, office-based.

Role duties required

Managing all customer requirements Freight Quotations
Handling export / import domestics and cross trade shipments
Updating customers with regards to their shipments
Freight shipment costs are inputted into the system
Assisting with Customs procedures formalities

Working hours 4 on 4 off 7am - 7pm - office based

Salary 34K - 38K subject to experience
