TPF Recruitment is proud to be working on behalf of a well-established, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Hove. With a close-knit team of 20 staff and a strong family-run culture, this firm is known for its friendly environment, long-standing client relationships, and dedication to professional excellence.

We’re currently recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Senior or Manager, depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking to work in a varied role across both accounts and audit, supporting one of the Managing Partners with a diverse portfolio of clients.

Role Overview:
  • Work closely with one of the firm’s Managing Partners to manage a mixed portfolio of clients.

  • Prepare year-end statutory accounts and management accounts (approx. 70% of the role).

  • Plan and lead audit assignments for a variety of clients (approx. 30% of the role).

  • Provide client-facing support, offering insight and advice where appropriate.

  • Assist junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

RequirementsWho This Role Suits:
  • A candidate with existing audit experience who also enjoys accounts work.

  • An accounts-focused professional keen to gain exposure to a smaller proportion of audit assignments.

  • Someone who thrives in a hands-on, people-oriented environment and enjoys building strong client relationships.

Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, finalist, or qualified by experience (QBE).

  • A strong background in accounts preparation, with some exposure to audit.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
