Role Responsibilities
  • Leading audit engagements across a broad range of sectors
  • Planning and executing audits, including risk assessments, testing, and reporting
  • Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work, and supporting their development
  • Acting as a main point of contact for clients during assignments
  • Liaising with managers and partners on audit findings and client communications
  • Ensuring all work is completed within deadlines and to high technical standards
About the Firm

This role involves leading audit assignments from planning through to completion and working directly with a variety of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, charities, and professional service firms. You'll work closely with partners and managers to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist level), with a strong audit background in practice
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in external audit
  • Sound technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and FRS 102
  • Experience leading audits from planning through to completion
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and confident in managing workloads and deadlines
  • A team player who enjoys coaching and supporting junior colleagues
