Business Support Officer - Assets Management & Building Safety

We are seeking a Business Support Officer to join our Assets Management & Building Safety team. This role is crucial in providing first-class administrative support, ensuring the effective running of our team and contributing significantly to the delivery of high-quality services.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide effective, flexible, and responsive administrative support to the Asset Management team.
  • Handle triage calls related to Damp, Mould, and Condensation (DMC), ensuring they are resolved or escalated appropriately.
  • Respond to enquiries sensitively, resolving issues where possible and directing more complex calls to the appropriate officer.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
  • Produce documents formatted to service standards and within set deadlines.
  • Plan work to meet targets, standards, and deadlines consistently.
  • Follow corporate procedures for customer care and data management.
  • Develop and maintain effective administrative systems to support the work of the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and other service-specific IT packages.
  • Strong literacy skills for producing specialist documentation.
  • Good numeracy skills for handling statistical and financial information.
  • Demonstrated ability to offer excellent customer service consistently.
