Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager in the Employee Benefits division, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing tailored proposals, and building strong relationships with decision-makers across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed targets
  • Identify and qualify new leads through research, networking, and outreach
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR and business leaders
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in Salesforce
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO 27001, BS 10012, ISO 50001, ISO 22301)

Skills and Experience

  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills
  • Organised and able to prioritise workload effectively
  • Professional, confident, and aligned with company values
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in business development (preferred)
