I am recruiting for a world leading food manufacturer who require are in the market for an Interim Health & Safety Manager to join their business for a minimum 3–6-month contract. They are looking for someone to start immediately on their site based in West Yorkshire.
For the position of Interim Health & Safety Manager, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
- Managing Health, Safety and Environment Management systems and activities
- Apply relevant technical guidance control hazards and potential risk
- Respond to incidents, report KPI's
- Report to H&S Director and executive team daily
- Facilitate a risk assessment programme for continuous review
- Maintain database, monitor trends and improvement opportunities
The successful Interim Health & Safety Manager will need to have the following attributes:
- Strong track record within H&S within Food and or Beverage
- Mechanical background – conveyors, baggers, packers, palletisers, hoppers
- Ability to interact with and manage internal and external labour
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
