As part of their continued investment in quality, safety, and efficiency, we are looking to recruit a reliable and experienced Part-Time Electrical Engineer to join the maintenance team.

Role Overview

As a Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on a range of food manufacturing equipment

  • Respond to breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner

  • Conduct fault-finding and root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence

  • Support with installation and commissioning of new machinery

  • Support with PAT testing
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

  • Work collaboratively with production teams to support operational targets

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in a similar role

  • Strong electrical knowledge

  • Knowledge of health & safety practices in manufacturing settings

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work

Preferred (but not essential):
  • PAT Testing certification or experience

  • Experience working with conveyors, mixers, packaging lines, or similar equipment
