Job Description
We are seeking an Experienced Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to lead our Breakfast/Afterschool Club and Holiday Playscheme. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to inspire our talented staff team and make a significant impact on our infant setting, focusing on children aged 3-7 years.
Responsibilities
Breakfast Club:
- Lead the team in creating a stimulating and exciting environment for children.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the breakfast club.
- Address any issues with parents or children and report to the Manager.
- Provide engaging and educational activities.
Afterschool Club:
- Manage the staff team in the daily operations of Lindley Out of School Club.
- Engage in face-to-face work with children, delivering a diverse program of activities in a safe play environment.
- Ensure the activities are interesting, valuable, and appropriate for the children, adapting to their changing needs.
- Welcome parents, carers, and visitors, providing them with relevant information and advice regarding childcare.
Job Purpose
- To lead and inspire the staff team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare and activities.
- To create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children and their families.
- To maintain a safe and stimulating environment that promotes the well-being and development of children.
Hours
- Term Time: 7am - 9am and 3pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday.
- School Holidays: Full days from 7.30am - 6pm, with staff working half days (7am - 12.30pm or 12.30pm - 6pm).
