The RoleAs a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload of transactions—both freehold and leasehold—from initial instructions through to completion. You’ll work closely with partners, senior associates, and a dedicated support team to deliver timely, commercially focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on acquisitions, disposals, lettings (landlord & tenant), and management of commercial estates

  • Draft, negotiate, and review complex property documentation (leases, licences, development agreements, option agreements, etc.)

  • Conduct and review due diligence, including title, planning, environmental, and other searches

  • Liaise with clients, surveyors, planning consultants, lenders, and third-party solicitors

  • Identify and manage risk, ensuring compliance with firm and regulatory standards

  • Mentor junior fee-earners and collaborate with secretarial support to streamline workflows

Your Profile

  • Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 2-5 years’ PQE in commercial property

  • Proven transactional track record, comfortable handling mid- to large-scale deals

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and risk-analysis skills

  • Commercially aware, client-focussed and able to manage competing priorities

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
