Project Manager – Large Format / Retail Displays

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 benefits
We’re partnered with a well-established creative manufacturing business that works with major retail brands to design, produce and deliver eye-catching window and in-store display solutions.
The business pride themselves as a creative production house who can deliver complex, one-off projects to a highly diverse client base.
Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint a Project Manager to support the Projects Director.
This role would suit a Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager ready to take the next step, or a Production Supervisor / Manager from a similar business looking to move into a more client-facing, commercially focused direction.
This could be the ideal opportunity to fast-track your development within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Within the role you’ll act as the key link between clients, production teams, and suppliers – overseeing the lifecycle from initial brief through to installation and ensuring every project lands on time, on budget and to the expected standard.
This is an office-based role with travel to client sites when required.
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate and review client briefs to understand requirements and scope
- Develop project options, quotations, and realistic timelines
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and contractors
- Produce accurate and profitable quotations
- Plan production schedules and coordinate workloads to meet key deadlines
- Oversee prototype builds and production, ensuring quality standards are met
- Conduct quality checks before dispatch
- Organise surveys, installation schedules and supporting documentation
- Prepare detailed installation packs and coordinate logistics with clients and fitters
Key Skills & Attributes
- An understanding of the manufacturing and production processes associated with creative retail display projects
- Strong organisational and decision-making skills
- Confident communicator who can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-driven, proactive, and calm under pressure
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport (essential for site visits)
- Excellent customer service approach and relationship-building capability
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt quickly
- Fully computer literate
