Sales Manager - (Timber Frame & Roof Truss)

We are looking for a driven and experienced Timber Frame Sales Manager to take the lead in developing and expanding our sales in the engineered timber products sector, with a primary focus on roof trusses. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong industry knowledge, a proven sales track record, and a passion for delivering high-quality structural solutions.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of roof trusses and associated engineered timber products to contractors, housebuilders, developers, and self-build customers.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.

  • Identify new market opportunities and build a robust pipeline of potential clients.

  • Provide accurate quotations, technical advice, and project support to customers throughout the sales cycle.

  • Liaise with internal design, estimating, and production teams to ensure client requirements are met effectively and efficiently.

  • Maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to promote repeat business and referrals.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.

  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales within the construction or engineered timber sector, ideally with a focus on roof trusses.

  • Strong technical understanding of roof truss systems, including relevant design and manufacturing processes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Competent in reading technical drawings and interpreting specifications.

  • Full UK driving license
