- Preparation of statutory financial statements over a varied portfolio of clients including companies, limited liability partnerships, partnerships, sole traders, trusts and preparation of the associated tax computations.
- Preparation and review of VAT returns.
- Complete work accurately and in a timely and cost-effective manner, working to agreed deadlines.
- Undertake continuous training, self-learning and development by attending appropriate training programmes, technical research/reading and keeping up to date with relevant issues within the profession.
- 3+ years’ experience, having worked as a Semi-Senior Accountant in an Accountancy firm.
- Qualified AAT or part-qualified ACA/ACCA.
- Ability to use a range of software packages including Excel, Word, Outlook, Xero, Quickbooks, Sage, Farmplan, Key Prime and IRIS would be advantageous.
