Your Mission as Early Career Teacher
As an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you’ll bring fresh energy and innovative ideas into the classroom. Your mission is to inspire, support, and guide students through their learning journey, while developing your own teaching practice in a nurturing and collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do as Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across your subject specialism
- Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs and styles
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with experienced educators to refine your teaching skills
- Embrace professional development opportunities to grow in your role
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
What You Bring as Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Passion for teaching and a strong subject knowledge
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning
- Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment

- Have the right to work in the UK
- Provide an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years
- Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS registered to the update service
