Credit Control Manager – Hull – c£30,000A fantastic opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Credit Control Manager has become available with one of our successful key clients in the Hull area. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a confident and organised individual to head up their credit control processes.This is an exciting and fast-paced role, offering variety in all aspects of credit control and ownership of the end-to-end process of working with customers to manage and minimise overdue debt. Credit Control Manager Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the group sales ledger and ensuring payments are made within agreed timeframes
  • Taking ownership of credit control and driving on the improvement of credit control porccesses and procedures
  • Collecting debt within agreed timeframes/reasonable timeframes to ensure the debotrs ledger is maintained
  • Building strong relationships with customers and ensuring consistent and clear communication
  • Responding to queries relating to sales ledger including non-payments and advising on processes to follow
  • Supporting across month-end close and reconciliation
  • Running regular debtor reports
  • Updating customers credit terms where necessary
  • Setting up new customers, ensuring accurate data is recorded and credit checks are in place
  • Maintaining and updating the finance system as necessary
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience within a similar credit control position, successfully collecting debt and maintaining the sales ledger
  • Strong communication skills through all methods
  • Proficient in accounting software including Excel
  • AAT desirable but not essential
