Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home

Atrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Deputy Manager role in a well-established children’s residential home. This position is ideal for an experienced professional ready to support the Registered Manager in leading a team dedicated to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day operations and deputise for the Registered Manager when required

  • Lead and develop staff to maintain a positive, high-performing team

  • Monitor care plans, ensuring they meet individual needs and regulatory standards

  • Promote best practices in safeguarding, behaviour support, and emotional wellbeing

  • Handle staffing rotas, budget planning, and team performance

What We’re Looking For:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role

  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted regulations

  • Excellent communication and people-management skills

  • Compassion, professionalism, and a genuine passion for supporting children
