We are seeking a proactive and adaptable IT Technical Support Technician to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, tech-savvy, and capable of supporting a variety of IT tasks, including setting up VR headsets, configuring devices via Microsoft Intune, and managing incoming hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unbox, configure, and test VR headsets (e.g., Meta Quest, HTC Vive, etc.) Ensure proper connectivity and compatibility with host systems
  • Provide basic user guidance and troubleshooting
  • Enrol and configure devices using Microsoft Intune
  • Apply security policies, application deployments, and compliance settings
  • Troubleshoot Intune-related issues
  • Receive, inventory, and set up laptops, desktops, peripherals, and other IT equipment
  • Perform initial configuration and software installation
  • Maintain accurate records of asset deployment
  • Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues
  • Assist with network connectivity and basic troubleshooting
  • Support ad hoc technical tasks as needed
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
