Job Summary:

  • We are currently representing a Warehouse Manager opportunity on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing business based in East Yorkshire. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations, supporting production with timely and accurate supply of materials and driving efficiencies across storage, inventory and distribution processes.

Main Duties:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring materials and components are received, stored and issued efficiently to support production schedules.
  • Lead, manage and develop the warehouse team to deliver high levels of performance, accuracy and safety.
  • Monitor stock levels, implement robust inventory control processes and minimise stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, promoting a safe working culture across all warehouse activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimise space utilisation, increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support the implementation of a CRM System.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing teams and process driven.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse processes; experience with ERP/CRM systems would be an advantage.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
