Your Role as a Production Planner will include:
* Developing and maintaining production schedules to meet customer demand
* Coordinating with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow
* Monitoring inventory levels and making recommendations on stock and resources
* Raising purchase orders via MRP systems, balancing cost control with inventory needs
* Reporting on production performance, KPIs, and resource utilisation
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency and reduce waste

The successful Production Planner will need:
* Previous experience in production planning or related role
* Understanding of production processes and continuous improvement principles
* Strong knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control
* Ideally a Level 3 qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Admin or similar
* Experience with MRP software
