The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, ideally requiring several years of relevant experience.

Sector: Groundworks & Civil Engineering - New Build Housing

We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to join our client on a long term residential development project in Hull. The ideal candidate will have a background or knowledge in site engineering and a strong understanding of groundworks and civil engineering within the new build housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing day to day site operations on a busy new build housing site
Managing plot works and supervising subcontractors and site labour
Handling site paperwork including:
QA documentation
Permits
Timesheets

Take offs
Ensuring health & safety compliance on site
Liaising with the client, engineers, and project team
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site organisation

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworks Site Manager
- Site Engineering background or knowledge (preferred)
- CSCS card
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Self motivated with the ability to manage subcontractors and direct labour efficiently
