Are you a seasoned Quantity Surveyor looking to take your career to new heights? My global client is seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in the East Yorkshire area. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial management of major construction projects, ensuring the successful delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly Auto-WIP and journal returns
- Liaise with the client on compensation events, payment allocation queries, and disallowed items
- Conduct cost analysis using SAP and Power BI to support Project Board Reports
- Oversee subcontract management processes and update commercial registers
- Manage the change control process, including notifications, quotations, and agreement of compensation events
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Extensive knowledge of the NAECI Agreement
- Experience on major construction projects
- Proficiency in NEC4 Option B Contracts and the Standard Method of Measurement
- Basic understanding of P6 programming
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
