Are you a passionate and driven Maths Teacher seeking your next teaching opportunity to inspire young minds and support students in building strong numeracy and problem-solving skills?

GSL Education are currently looking for qualified and enthusiastic Maths Teachers to join secondary schools across Hull. We have opportunities available for full-time, part-time, long-term and day-to-day cover roles to suit your experience and schedule.

This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers and ECTs who are committed to raising standards in mathematics education. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and Key Stage 5 if appropriate.

As a Teacher of Maths, your responsibilities will be:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured Maths lessons based on the national curriculum
  • Teach Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Track and assess pupil progress and provide tailored support to maximise achievement
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline
  • Support the school’s commitment to excellence and student development
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and leadership teams to enhance learning outcomes

Mathematics Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
  • Specialism in Mathematics or a closely related field
  • Prior experience working as a Maths Teacher across UK schools.
  • Ability to teach Maths confidently across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching and helping students succeed
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
