Due to several of our long-standing Teaching Assistants moving on to further their studies, we are now seeking four committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join the team from September.

About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

  • Assisting in the implementation of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies.

  • Collaborating with class teachers and the SENCO to ensure effective and inclusive support.

  • Promoting a positive, nurturing learning environment that supports every student’s potential.

  • Monitoring and recording student progress, and liaising with teachers and parents when appropriate.

We are looking for candidates who:
  • Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in one-to-one settings.

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Are empathetic, patient, and passionate about supporting students with diverse needs.

  • Understand safeguarding and child protection procedures and uphold the highest standards of care.

Please note: This role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection. All successful applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS checks and must be registered on the Update Service.
